The following are not AFRP dogs, but are featured on their website.
Maverick and Dash
Maverick and Dash are two bonded dogs who are looking for a home together. Their family is heartbroken, but circumstances are such that they must move overseas and cannot take these two four legged family members with them. They need a place to go by November 20. These dogs are awesome. They are very well-behaved. Dash is a 2 year old, 45 pound neutered male Corgie/Aussie mix. Maverick is a 60 pound neutered male Lab/Ridgeback mix. It would be ideal for them to go to a home together, but if they need to be separated that would be better than not getting homes. To meet these two in Aptos, CA, call Lnda or Trent at 831.688.8945 or 831-406-1233 or email trent@hyperping.com.

Sunshine
Sunshine is a 6-month-old, 30-pound Rottweiler/Terrier mix pup. She is crate trained, playful and very smart. Sushine loves chicken and jerky treats so will be easily trained. She gets along with other dogs and has been raised with cats. She is also good with children. Sunshine is looking for a home where people are home during the day or she has another dog to play with while people are at work. Looking for home owners over the age of 23 and dog-experienced. Sunshine is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, on heartworm preventative, vet checked and healthy. Adoption fee, home check, vet references and fenced yard required. Sunshine is in Redding. She's not an AFRP dog, for more information contact Save a Dog Today Rescue.

All of these dogs need homes. Please visit AFRP (Animal Friends Rescue Project) for details.

This Thanksgiving, give a special thanks to organizations like AFRP who dedicate so much time, energy and money to helping animals. There are hundreds of volunteers who take care of the dogs, foster the dogs, take pictures of the dogs, play with the dogs and promote the adoption of the dogs. The list goes on and on and they are deserve a great, big
THANK YOU!
